Betty Ann has worn many hats in her engagement with Jóvenes Adelante, none more important than her pivotal role in taking on are current position as co-coordinator of our evolving EFL program.
Working with Betty Ann has truly been a very meaningful experience. I feel deeply grateful to have her as an ally in this project. Her previous experience allows her not only to support the process, but also to envision improvements and expand the program’s potential. This ability to see beyond the immediate adds clarity and depth to our work.
Getting Students On Board with English
JA now recognizes that proficiency in English is no longer a complementary skill. Rather, it has emerged as a necessary requirement for both academic purposes and professional mobility. Upping the Game aligns learning expectations with current reality.
For most career paths and for those considering a Master’s Degree, English is no longer optional: it is foundational. By emphasizing this requirement, we are not closing doors, but rather opening new doors.

Quality matches
Matching students with the right tutor is as much an art as a science. Betty Ann brings her instincts and years of experience to the task.
Meeting Betty as a tutor was an amazing experience. The ease with which I was able to connect with her to practice exceeded all my expectations. From the first session, Betty created a safe environment where mistakes were seen as learning opportunities. This perspective completely changed my relationship with the language. My main reflection is that fear can cause us to miss out on very valuable experiences.
