This special Mex-Can issue highlights the enormous contribution Jóvenes Adelante students receive from our Canadian supporters, most via our partner, Amistad Canada.

Our lead feature story pays tribute to our 2025 Amistad Canada Award winner, Betty Ann Taylor, and Jóvenes Adelante's English as a Foreign Language  program.

Our 2 featured students have Canadian sponsors, as do many others with stories sprinkled throughout this issue.

Thank you Amistad Canada and all of our Canadian supporters who serve as donors and sponsors, EFL tutors and mentors. It is a true collaboration, leading to hundreds of thousands of dollars in support of Mexican youth achieving a higher education, and hundreds of engaged supporters, not only those who frequent Mexico, but others who don’t.
